It has been a while since I’ve put up a blog update and frankly, that is not how I planned my spring to go.
There has been so much going on, and I’ve decided to drop a few lines to give an update. Since my last one, I’ve finished my final draft and passed it on to my beta readers. Now, this isn’t an overnight process and I appreciate my people very much for taking the time. In the meantime, I took to the technical details of the story, for both the Ebook and print, making sure all of it was on point. I’ve also prepared several versions of my cover for both and hopefully will be able to settle on one soon or put two up for a vote.
As the tv ads say… but that’s not all!
Some of you may know, I started a Youtube channel when I set up my other social media accounts, but there hasn’t been much going on there. That’s because this is still a learning curve for me and one of the recent decisions, I’ve made is that I will be creating a podcast rather than your usual form of videos. I’ve polled this here and there and this seemed to be a better choice for the most part for others and myself. Been working on titles, episode topics, and picking decent equipment to get me started.
Look out for that one.
For now, the planned subjects will be my writing, books, and universes that inspired me, character development, the upcoming Just One series, and more. Is there a topic you’d like me to include? You can comment on this blog post or any of my social media. I would love to hear from you.
The third update is that as of last week, I’ve returned to my day job. Well, a new job, but with the same people, I used to work with. I mean, even Supergirl has one, so why not me? It’s taken some getting used to, to be honest, after a long year of not having one due to the lockdowns here in Ireland, but it’s better to get back in the swing of things, in my opinion. It has made a bit of a shift in my routine though; as I’m now working on my book on my days off.
