It seems to be a theme in my life, but I’ve never had one single favorite thing when it comes to anything. Same as with movies, TV shows, music… food is just the same. So, my favorite few would include 1. Pizza 2. Steak 3. Pasta. Basic, I know…

But hear me out.
In Croatia, my favorite is known as “Capricciosa”, hold the artichoke (if cooked it at home, it would be “Vesuvio”, which is ham and cheese, no mushroom). Now, I realize the second name could be a local thing. Since I’ve moved to Ireland, I’ve had to use the “make your own” option to even get the first one, and I’ve had a friend refer to it as Victoria. So it’s never quite boring for me to order my favorite food.
There’s no need to go into depth with a steak. It’s a steak, I prefer mine rare. Let’s not argue over this, the past medium spectrum is what I call burnt so you’ll lose. 🙂
Now, when it comes to pasta, I enjoy trying different ones, but my current favorite is one with a protein (either chicken or mussels with prawns) with plenty of veg (broccoli, carrots, peppers, peas) with a tomato or pepper sauce. And over the years, I’ve found that the best pasta dishes are the ones I make. Not because I’m better than any chef, no, but because I’ve learned that there’s just a way I like my pasta. Like, I don’t like an indulgence of sauce, I would rather have it half dry. There will be some form of cheese added at the end there (these days, fresh mozzarella is a clear winner) and parmesan has to go on top of pasta, otherwise we can’t be friends.
Just a little fun prompt today…
