Short Story Contest

This post, titled ‘Inspiration Thursday’, is a retrospective look at the author’s experiences in writing and entering literary contests. She writes about her early attempts at poetry and short stories, co-writing with her father, and winning a Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 1 VHS set. The author then discusses her recent participation in an annual short story competition, during which she developed a short story about her favourite roleplay character “Katrine”. She also talks about her writing process, her reliance on beta readers, and the process of gathering votes for the competition.

Character Development

This week’s Inspiration Thursday talks about developing fictional characters in roleplay, fan fiction and even my upcoming book Just One. There’s also a section about minor characters of Just One, giving a further sneak peak into my work.

Fan Fiction

This weeks Inspiration Thursday looks into my time writing fan fiction, both in the universe of Roswell (as Just One was originally), but also other universes such as Star Wars and Terminator. It’s a look into what fan fiction is and why it would be good for anyone to try it.

Roswell

My upcoming book Just One started out as a fan fiction of the TV show Roswell (1999-2002). This post touches upon my love for the show, why I started the fiction, a little bit on the remark Roswell, New Mexico.
